Selection Process pOf NPCIL Recruitment
The selection procedure for NPCIL Assistant Grade-1 positions involves several steps:
Written Examination: This is the first stage and includes two parts:
- Preliminary Test: A screening test with 50 multiple-choice questions covering General Knowledge, Computer Knowledge, and English. It lasts for one hour and is scored out of 150 marks. You need at least 40% marks to pass if you are from the General category, and 30% marks if you’re from SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS/PwBD categories.
- Advanced Test: If you pass the Preliminary Test, you’ll take the Advanced Test, which also has 50 multiple choice questions but focuses on Quantitative Aptitude and Critical Reasoning.
