Selection Procedure for the OICL AO

Examination Pattern And Scheme

Exam Scheme

The OICL AO exam has three stages:

  1. Preliminary Exam (Prelims)
  2. Main Exam (Mains)
  3. Interview

Preliminary Exam (Prelims)

  • The Prelims exam has three sections:
  1. Reasoning Ability: 35 questions, 35 marks, 20 minutes
  2. Quantitative Aptitude: 35 questions, 35 marks, 20 minutes
  3. English Language: 30 questions, 30 marks, 20 minutes
  • Total: 100 questions, 100 marks, 60 minutes
  • There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Main Exam (Mains)

  • The Mains exam has four sections:
  1. Reasoning Ability: 50 questions, 50 marks
  2. English Language: 50 questions, 50 marks
  3. General Awareness: 50 questions, 50 marks
  4. Quantitative Aptitude: 50 questions, 50 marks
  • Total: 200 questions, 200 marks, 150 minutes (2.5 hours)
  • There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Interview

  • Candidates who pass the Mains exam will be called for an interview.
  • The interview is worth 50 marks.

Examination Schedule

The Examination is going to conducted on the date of the 07th July 2024 with morning shift of the examination 9;00Am to 10;00AM, the admit cards are usually released before two weaks before the exam. the appliers need to check the examination website, we will provide you link to download the admit card.
